Deauville Horse Racing
Deauville became an established part of the French racing calendar at the turn of the century and whilst the town may be relaxed, the racing most certainly is not! The countryside around Deauville is the main horse breeding region in France and home to numerous stud farms. Deauville Clairefontaine is the race track for thoroughbred horse racing in the Calvados region.
The programme includes:
- 45 minutes flying time (depart at 0830 hrs and return at 1845 hrs)
- Return transfer from the airport to the racecourse
- Entry to the race course
- Baptism of the Sulkies followed by a cider and cheese tasting inside ‘Le Petite Ferme’
- 3 course lunch at La Terrasse (groups up to 18). For groups larger than this, lunch will take place in a marquee at Le Petite Ferme
- Kir Normand aperitif, 1/2 bottle of wine per person, mineral water and coffee
